Top Ten reasons we are Ready for Kenzie's arrival

These are some of Klayton's latest questions that make the anticipation of Kenzie's arrival even greater.

1. When is Kenzie coming Mommy?

2. Can I show the present to Kenzie. (proceeds to take the new outfit and touch it to my stomach)

3. Is Kenzie going with you to work today?

4. Can we wake Kenzie up?

5. Let's make Kenzie move. I felt her move.

6. Can Kenzie sleep with me?

7. Kenzie can't eat any ice cream.

8. Can you lay on the floor like me Mommy? (He asks this while he is on his stomach).

And then two more reasons from me...

9. The room is all ready. I got the bedding from Aunt Marla last weekend. Yeah!

10. Can you say look at my stomach. We had a shower at Kevin's work but other than that I have refused pictures so here you go.

Camping in August

We decided to make one more trip out this summer. Kevin was a little hesitant taking his almost 8 month pregnant wife out for a weekend in 100 degree weather but I was willing and ready so we ventured out. And true to form for the summer we had another prego with us, Tammy and James joined us for the weekend and so did Jonathan and Grace. It was a little warm but not miserably hot. The breeze from the lake along with some much needed shade kept us OK. Of course we spent plenty of time in the water which I love because I forget about the extra pounds and the baby pressing on my rib cage and everything else. Here we are playing in the water.
And here is Klayton and Grace playing in the dirt. It is always so much fun to get dirty.

I think these will be the last camping pictures but hopefully we will have new pictures of the house and before too long there will be new pictures of a baby, and then football season. Whoa! I am getting ahead of myself now.

Random Snaps

We have been taking full advantage of the summer and as always there is lots going on. Kevin and I kind of made a last minute decision to possibly move. We have put our house on the market and have found house up north by the golf course but all is pending on the sale of our house. I know that is crazy with only 7 weeks before the baby so we will see what happens.
Last week one day Klayton was quiet for several minutes so I went to check on him and this is what I found.
Yes, that is green marker all over him. Luckily it is washable. What am I going to do with my little mischievious boy.

Another new thing is his interest in his puppy dog. It is from build a bear and his Aunt Laura gave it to him for Christmas 2 years ago. All of a sudden he can't go to bed without it and he is just so cute.
He has also become a fish in the water. Just last week he decided it was fun to jump in and put his face in the water. Here is my attempt at the action shot. Ready...set...go!
mid air jumping

And the landing.

And then here he is just swimming around in his float.

And then running back into the pool.

I try to tell him that he is my little fish but he says, "mommy just call me Klayton."
