Pride

We made it through member guest!!! This is the biggest tournament of the year at the golf course so a little stressful for Kevin and lots of extra hours. This year he did it without his assistant and after we survived we enjoyed a great dinner at the club. Everyone was very complimentative of the golf course and he made me very proud.

Klayton is growing up so fast and yesterday I was almost brought to tears with pride. He got his 1st report card and he did "good" in all areas. The teacher had wonderful comments about him and presented us with a scrapbook of things from this year. He has improved in so many ways. Here he is at the spring program which was also in the last few weeks. The classes all sang a couple of "spring" songs and it was too cute.

And here is me proud of my 1st fish I caught while fishing with a worm. I know exciting stuff. We have been spending lots of evenings at the lake. We are only 5 minutes from the boat ramp so it is a great get away for the evening.

My family makes me very proud. What can I say? I don't think many days go by that I am not reminded of this and that makes me very thankful.

A Suprise Visit...

From The Ellis's. What a treat. Carrie braved the drive with the 2 kiddos by herself and we had a wonderful weekend. The kids played all day on Friday and then we took a trip to Sea World on Sat. None of us had ever been but we went with no expectations. meaning we wanted to leave before the kids melted and didn't expect to see all of the park. We were there by 10 and gone by 2 with 4 kiddos that were very tired but loved seeing Shamu and a few other animals as well.
Kenzie ready for bed

Here are the boys playing trains

The Shamu show was pretty impressive
The boys were amazed at the big roller coaster

We got to see them feed the sting rays

Here they are watching the sea lions
Before meltdown

They were pretty tired at the end of the day but there was a little time for hugs.

We had a great weekend and are very thankful for family and the sacrifices they make so we can see each other and more importantly so our kids can grow up close.
