Baptism

Last weekend (OK 2 weekends ago) was a big weekend in the Chance household. We finally baptized Kenzie. This was a little later than we anticipated but having family around is very important to us so we waited for the perfect time. We chose Carrie and Richard as Godparents and this is actually the 1st time they have been in and able to go to Hallettsville since Kenzie was born so here we go. Thankfully Uncle Father Jim does a great job with the baptisms and we enjoy doing them in Hallettsville because there are so many special moments at Sacred Heart.

Here is Klayton participating in the blessing

(these pictures are in crazy order because the computer is being goofy and I am not patient today so sorry)

We also turned the weekend into more adventures by going to the zoo. Melinda and Dave came in for Uncle Lary's retirement party so since we were going to be in Houston we just made a day of it and went to the zoo as well.
It was a little cold but here are Klayton and Austin looking at the zebras
And the giraffes were definitely the highlight
And Kenzie enjoying some Daddy time.

No trip to Hallettsville would be complete without a little time in the chicken yard. This time the boys decided they needed to chase the duck and I don't know who was more tired the boys or the duck but it was a hoot.
I guess when the were done they had to go to the bathroom. I am not sure who told them to do that on the trees but here is the evidence of the two trouble makers
Finally, Kenzie is eating in the highchair now and she is very proud of herself and a great eater.
