The weekend after Easter we had a camping trip planned. We thought about cancelling it due to the weather but I was pretty stressed at work and we really needed the time away. I know most of you are thinking that camping in the rain is not exactly relaxing but it was perfect. We watched and listened to the rain, took a couple of boat trips, played keep away with Klayton and had a great weekend. The fact that my husband knew taking me camping when make all my stresses better is even more impressive. Once we got to the campground, Kevin made a nice rain canopy (we kind of looked like white trash but it was functional)

And the sun even came out a little. Jonathan and Julie joined us for the evening but I am pretty sure they thought we were crazy for camping in the mud. Nonetheless we had a good visit with them as well.

i like camping but im not sure i would go for the whole rain thing. ur brave. and klayton is mudding already....i forsee some trouble in ur future. kenzie is adorable as well.
