It is 7:00 and I am ready for work but don't need to leave for 15 more minutes but am I running around trying to get kids dressed and out the door and in the car? No, I am relaxing at the computer. I thought I would take a few minutes to talk about how we are so blessed to have Grandma (Kevin's mom) in our lifes. I am not writing to brag but rather to remind myself of how truly blessed we are and how things have a way of working out. Of course I always thought I would want to stay home with the kiddos but money and blah, blah, blah so I work part time and could not be happier about the decision. Grandma is an absolute miracle. The kids love her, she would do anything for us, she spoils all of us rotten, and she makes things like going to work no big deal. Let me just share a few of the things she has done in the last week.
yesterday, she got the clothes out of the dryer and put the next batch in
last week, she folded towels that I left in the dryer.
Tuesday she made Klayton's lunch because I totally forgot to.
Last week she cleaned out the nasty potato/onion bin
Monday she took out the trash that Kevin and I were too lazy to do
I get home from work at noon and she has lunch made for me and Kenzie and somedays even has my glass of water filled (what???)
Did I mention that she washes the kids clothes, empties the dishwasher, picks up a few necessities at the grocery store, and a million other things.
I am very, very thankful and don't those smiles say it all.
We love you, Grandma
