1st camping trip and 1st swim

Camping started a little later than usual due to t-ball. So we missed February and March, but April sent us to Canyon Lake. We headed down on Friday night after the t-ball game and we didn't get to the campsite until almost 10:00. which most of you who know my kids, know that is really late for my "8:00 come snow, rain, sleet, or high water, kids." And on top of things we got a new tent this year that we had to put up in the dark. Ok, who am I kidding. Kevin put up in the dark. I think it was even a little too stressful for drinking. I tried to keep the kids entertained and before I knew it, the neighbor was offering help. We must have looked desperate. We survived and the new tent is wonderful. All of the stresses go away when you wake up on Sat. morning and head out to the lake and feel the calm.
The wind blew a lot which kept us nice and cool and made playing very interesting for the kids. The bubbles were a huge hit.

This weekend it was just warm enough to make our inaugaral trip to the pool. I actually snuck away during nap time for some quiet time soaking in the sun and then after nap we all ventured back out. Of course I am smart enough to not actually get in the water but the kids don't care and had a blast.
Never mind that they are sitting in the front seat. I promise it is only a short distance to the pool.
I don't know why I don't have pictures of Klayton. Probably because he was moving too fast. He picked up right where he left off last summer.
The only problem with going to the pool in April is the getting out part. It was a tad chilly but well worth the good times.

NO pics of mommy either. Does that mean you were even faster?

Looks like fun! I wanna camp in a tent (as long as I can pee in a toilet).
