Crawling

I have been inspired. Cortni's (a cousin) has done wonderful blogs and it is always so much fun to read what is new in Braden's (and of course the rest of the family as well) world that I decided to try some blogging of my own. What a great way to keep up with what is going on and to remember all of my thoughts and feelings as Klayton grows up and Mommy and Daddy learn even more.

Klayton has started crawling. Yeah! Well I guess it's yeah. He has been trying for a while now but before he would just get ferociously mad and make this lovely face. It was definitely not one of daddy's favorite faces but we survived. In case you haven't got the full idea here is a picture.



Now it is definitely baby proofing time. We have talked up a gate for the stairs but haven't found "the perfect one" yet as our stairs our rounded which makes things a little difficult. I have also moved all of the extreme valuable off the lower shelves of the house to try to keep little paws off of them so we have definitely started but I'm sure there will be a ton of other things that Klayton discovers. Already he has taken a liking to electrical wires. That could be scary. Just yesterday I left him on the floor while I went to get the few remaining groceries out of the car only to return to Klayton with the carpet cleaner bottle in his mouth. A little scary to say the least but a definite wake up call. My eyes have suddenly been opened to all of my surroundings. This should be an exciting time to say the least.
