Family

As I sat down to wrist this blog I walked into Klayton's room to check on him while he was sleeping. This is what I found.

There are few things cuter than a baby sleeping with his butt in the air. Too funny. He has had an adventurous few weeks with lots of visits from family. He loves all of this visits and gets so excited that he sometimes forgets to sleep so this afternoon he is taking an unusually long nap and mommy is taking the time to get caught up on a few things. (Yes it is Father's Day but daddy had to go to the golf course. They do a lovely fish n golf for dad's that we are going to visit this evening. I'll post pictures of that next time.)

Anyway, last Sat. Uncle Richard and Aunt Carrie brought cousin Austin to visit and we had tons of fun. Grandpa and Grandma Henke got to come visit for the day as well. It is going to be so much fun having the boys so close in age. They are already started to play together. Or maybe you would just call it fighting over toys but they definitely watch each other closely as one of them crawls away with the "oh so important" toy. Not as if there aren't 30 other toys but the one the cousin has is always better. We even managed to make it to dinner with neither boy totally melting. They are growing up so fast.

Of course while Carrie was in town we had to do some shopping as well. Actually we probably did too much shopping and I think the boys grew tired of the mall but we had tons of fun. It was a great visit with my sisters and I enjoy and cherish their opinion, outlook, and laughs more and more every day. I think we might be finally growing up (or growing old however you want to look at it) because we actually made it through 4 days together and I don't think there was one argument. Mom would be so proud :)

Klayton and Austin even got to stay up past bed time in order to play with Aunt Mel. She is a very fun aunt and she always knows the cool games to play. Here is a picture of her simply hitting the ottoman. The boys were laughing so hard and us parents were probably laughing even harder because it is simply too cute to have the boys giggling like that. All the stresses of the day seem to disappear as the little smiles come across their faces. Thanks Aunt Carrie and Aunt Melinda for a wonderful week. We are looking forward to Mexico.
