Things really went fast after a trip to Chuckie Cheese's sent the stomach virus spreading like wild fire. Or at least I like to blame it on the germs of all the oh so sweet grimy kids at chuckie cheese's. Two weeks ago Kevin was out of town so I recruited Jennifer and we took the kiddos to see all of the fun at Chuckie Cheese's. At first I think they both were a bit overwhelmed but Klayton did enjoy his pizza. And of course watching all of the other kids was simply amazing. He especially liked the music...

(Yes he is standing in his high chair, sorry!) He wasn't quite too sure about good ol Chuckie

And then there were rides. Anneliese thought it was great but Klayton just wanted to drive.

After this, like I said we all ended up sick. Klayton was pretty bad. It was four days of vomitting and no solid food. He was not happy with us. Unfortunately Kevin got it, Grandma got it, Aunt Laura got it, Aunt Mel got it, and Jennifer, Brandon Uncle Pat and Aunt Gayle all got it as well. Yikes!!!! We are all better now and are very glad it wasn't during Christmas.
We also decided to make an adventure to the mall to visit Santa Claus. I didn't think Klayton would do it but it was worth a try. While we were waiting in line I kept asking Klayton if he wanted to sit on Santa's lap and I showed him Santa and everything, well he wasn't exactly saying yes but he certainly wasn't saying no. Here we are standing in line.
Well that is the last of the pictures because as we put him on Santa's lap he started crying and I was to busy trying to soothe him that I didn't get the lovely picture of him screaming bloody murder. It was fun none the less.
So now we are officially ready for Christmas. It is going to be so exciting for Klayton and for us as parents as well. Shopping is a whole new experience (word to the wise... avoid toys r us 5 days before Christmas) and we are really looking forward to starting some new traditions and teaching Klayton some of our own traditions.
I'll leave with one picture of Klayton right before bed. He is suck a stinker after he gets out of the bath that he always makes us smile!
