I love weekends

More like I love weekends at home. We have lots of family and friends that we get to see often which often means travelling on the weekends and that is a blast. I think that makes you appreciate the weekends at home even more. Kevin worked this weekend but we still had plenty of time for relaxing and even a few craft projects.

The first project was a wreath that Mandy inspired that I have been trying to get to for several weeks.
This morning we stayed in our PJ's until 10:00 and it was wonderful. We had a great time just playing.
Then another project with pillows. (never mind the plant that is dying, I am definitely good at killing plants). My last outdoor pillows didn't fair so well in the weather and I saw some burlap pillows at pottery barn and said, wait a minute. I think burlap is $4 a yard and they wanted $20 a pillow. Not so fast.

This dress I actually finished earlier in the week. I saw it on a wonderful website that I have become addicted to. It is oneprettything.com and it was so cute that I had to go digging through some old things to find some fabric. What fun!
More PJ pics. Sorry I am trying to do this blog quickly so no time for changing the order of the pics.
These are the pillows for Mila's room (Melinda's soon to be arriving little girl). The bedding turned out wonderful and last time she was in town we picked out this material for some extra pillows.
And we even had time to watch the Aggie game. Of course Kenzie would rather watch Dora so here she is watching TV like a big girl.
I would say that is one fabulous weekend.

Great job on the wreath. I love oneprettything.com. I have found a lot of ideas through them. And, I love your pillows. Great idea! It's amazing what you can accomplish with a free weekend at home.
