One house + 19 adults + 12 children (between the ages of 3 months and 7 years)+ sand + waves = loads of fun.
Thanks Krista and Robie for renting a wonderful house for us to bring all the kiddos together and create some wonderful memories and even more importantly stay in touch with family.
Chaos is going to be around when that many people are together but it was all fun chaos and pretty well organized chaos. We even took some time to visit the aquarium at Moody Gardens.

Of course there was lots of time in the water and sand. None of the kids were scared at all. Klayton liked to bump the waves with his hips. Him and Austin and Uncle Richard tackled many waves and we thought Uncle Dave was going to flip over 2 boys in a fun boat ride but everyone came back all smiles.
Kenzie attached to Daddy and they played in the tide and Kenzie certainly didn't care (much less realize) when the water was getting to her shoulders which meant the waves were over her head.
After the kiddos went to bed, nobody told any lies, drank any alcohol or laughed at all.
And if you believe any of that then you don't know the Fisher Family well enough. That led to lazy mornings and even a few cartoons so the adults could relax.
The weekend wouldn't be complete with a complete group shot.
How did we get that many kids to sit still...
Bribery. I mean reward for good behavior. This time the bribery was pretty innocent and a great idea by Aunt Linda. The kids fed the seagulls an entire loaf of bread and had a blast in the process. Thanks Aunt Linda.
This trip was my kids 1st trip to the beach and my 1st trip to Galveston in a really long time (like probably 20 years). It was great to be with family and hopefully will lead to many more trips in the near future.
