Happy Birthday Kenzie

My little girl is 3. And as she told us on Sunday morning, "I am finally 3." Already at 3 she is opinionated and girly and rough and tough all at the same time. She loves to have her fingernails painted and she loves anything kitty kats. She has a bizillion lip glosses that she can smear from one side of her face to the other. She loves to talk and tells wonderful stories. Her recent favorite saying is, "yeah baby!" I think that one is because of Daddy. She is so grown up at times and forgets that she is 3 years younger than her brother or other cousins. She still will listen to anybody willing to read her a book and the random, "I love you, Mommy," are heart melting. She has also gotten into painting and coloring so in general that seems to be calmer, girly activities but she can be rough. When she runs at me and bumps into my enormous pregnant belly, she is not even a tad bit gentle. Hopefully that will mean she can fight off a few boys.
She decided sometime this summer she was going to have a kitty kat party at the bouncy house. OK, don't know where that came from we decided to oblige. Well kind of. She wanted Tyler at her birthday party so we celebrated a few weeks early and went to the bouncy house for the morning and then had cupcakes and hots dogs at our house. Let's call it a party.
Kenzie was not scared of anything at the bouncy house. She went full force.

Of course she took time for a few hugs from Grandma
The cupcakes were super simple but turned out pretty cute
she was an expert at blowing out the candles

Then on her actual birthday we just relaxed. She got a birthday song for breakfast with her other cousins and opened presents all weekend. She got lots of girly stuff including purses, pom poms, and princess dolls.

My little girl! I love her dearly and time has gone so fast. I can't wait to see what the next 3 years have in store.
