BOAT

Yikes we bought a boat! That is what has basically been going on in the last 3 weeks. First it was kind of talking about a boat. Then we found one. Then we were getting the boat ready and then the boat's 1st trip.

It was just a couple of hours on Lake Austin but a good 1st outing. Klayton was scared at 1st and just stood really still. By the time we were coming back home he was waving at every passing boat.

Then it was a weekend trip with the boat. Last weekend we spent at Lake Sommerville. Kevin thought this was an appropriate trip for our 1st weekend considering all the weekends I spent at this lake while I waas growing up and the fact that Lake Sommerville is where Kevin asked Dad to marry me (oh how sweet!). We went Fri evening and met Kristi and Randy and Brad and Kate there. It was a little chilly but that didn't stop too many things. Klayton was excited from the word go. He just loves to be outside so camping was a great place to be.

Klayton also loves to blow bubbles. He really just eats the stick but we have fun pretending.

Sorry there aren't any more pictures but I am horrible with the camera. It was a great weekend and I'm sure there will be tons more camping trips to come. Luckily it is something that we all enjoy so it will be a great way to spend family time together. There is just something about being away from the chores and responsibilities of home that makes you very appreciative. It also is a great excuse to do nothing but play all day long.

We did battle another stomach virus in the absence of my writing but we have already recovered and put back on those 2 (now probably 3 or 4 extra pounds). It was an entire week of throwing up and that is scary for us and I'm sure for him as well.

We have a few very busy weekends coming up so hopefully the blogs aren't so spread out.
