My baby sister turned 30! So we celebrated a little extra. She made the trek in from North Carolina and Carrie came from Levelland we took full advantage of all the time we had together. Of course we had to spend at least a day shopping but we also got to watch the kids play together a lot and even made time for some dancing. I think we may have figured out the perfect birthday weekend.
Step 1. Let the kids burn off lots of energy outside.
Step 2. Eat at Chuy's and have cupcakes on the actual birthday
Step 3. Spend the morning letting the kids burn as much energy as possible at Zilker Park and the fountains before heading out for an entire day of shopping (leaving the kids behind).
Step 4. Put the kids to bed early and head out for an evening of dancing

Sounds like a great week long celebration. We did have a blast.
