Pinic Weekend

The annual church picnic. Really you don't have to say a whole lot more than that. I think it was extra fun this year because we hadn't been in a while. Or maybe it was the fact that we spent Sat. canning pears and making jellies so we were already in Hallettsville mode. The kids have really started enjoying their time at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Kenzie says "popo" and takes off running. Klayton has gotten to ride the tractor with Grandpa and wants to help out with whatever he can.

As usual the picnic was hot and for our kids that meant eating cool stuff.

There was also some time for playing games and riding trains. I was too busy visiting to take pictures of the games but they had a good time bouncing and Klayton even learned how to throw darts at the balloons. After a little coaching he hit a balloon and the crowd gathered around cheered. He was pretty proud.

Most importantly there was Grandma and Grandpa time and that is priceless .
