Swimming Lessons

Swimming lessons are one of those oh so hard decisions for a mom and her 1st born. Or maybe I just over analyze everything. Part of the problem lies in that my mom taught swimming lessons for years and I taught swimming lessons so surely I can teach my own son. After all he wasn't scared of the water he just didn't know how to do the strokes.

Then I found a coupon for swimming lessons for 1/2 price ($50 for 8 sessions lasting 30 minutes) and I had a total change of mind. That sounded way too easy so we went for it. And it was a huge success. He quickly moved up to the more advanced class and most of the classes were only 3 kids with two teachers. That is a pretty good ratio. So here he is all ready for classes.
He is normally a pretty good listener when someone other than me is giving directions :)

His favorite part was most definitely the slide.
And by the end of the class he was swimming (real swimming) all the way across the pool.

And Kenzie of course can't help but get in on the action. They had a wonderful pool for Kenzie to play in while Klayton was in lessons so she became quite the fish as well.
